Horrible Ad-litem

She is a horrible ad-litem. Allowed the confidentiality between child and ad-litem be violated. Continually cancelled appointments. Should have excused herself and allowed someone else with availability to take over instead of making families wait months for her and have an abuse case drag on. Mad...e physical abuse sound like it was not overly bad, just happens. Did not do due diligence with both parties on allegations that were made. Contradicted self in conversation and own report. Overall ineffective.

best family law attorney

I used Annie Hayes in my 2nd case. I was extremely upset when I spoke to her the first time. My ex had just served me with an emergency order that gave him custody of our baby. I went first to my old attorney but felt he was not understanding of my concerns. A friend mentioned Annie and I went to... see her. I immediately felt she could handle my case better. I was so right to hire her! She explained things in a calm way and made it easy for me to understand- even when I was upset. She told me what I needed to do and immediately went to work for me. It was a very stressful time for me but Annie and her office were always great. Annie did not give up or pressure me to settle. She was amazing in court and showed my ex's lies to the judge. I got my baby back and even some attorney fees. I am so thankful for all of Annie's help! If you need a divorce or custody attorney- go talk to her!

Outstanding Attorney

Anne informed us right away that our case was extremely difficult to win (Third party/ Grandparent custody). She was honest with us and showed genuine sympathy for our situation. Anne and her paralegal were easy to reach at any time and they were always prompt with replies when I had questions. An...ne worked tirelessly on our case and when it went to court, her 30 minute opening statement showed how well prepared she was. Anne gave the facts of our case from memory - without fumbling through notes and files (as I've seen other attorneys do). She was confident and knew as much about the tiniest details of our case as we did. She is so knowledgeable of the "ins and outs" of the law and kept us well informed of what to expect. In the beginning, we researched who to retain - we wanted an expert in third party/ Grandparent custody and we are so thankful we chose Anne. Not only were we granted full, sole custody, but we have now finalized the adoption of our grandson. We cannot thank Anne enough for pouring her heart into our case. With the stakes as high as they were, I cannot imagine what would have happened if we had not had her on our side.

Highly Recommend!!

Anne Banford is an excellent attorney. We used her in our child custody case. She was very professional and knowledgeable. Every aspect of our case was reviewed with us in detail. Anne and her assistant Gina were always updating us on the status of our case as well as answering any questions or c...oncerns. We highly recommend Anne and Coleman, Chambers & Rogers, LLP.

Contempt Action

There is enough stress involved when trying to prepare yourself to take someone back to court for contempt of an order. Anne K. Banford was my "ace in the hole" when I was forced to take my ex-wife back to court for a contempt action against specific orders that were stated in our divorce decree. ... Anne was very efficient, thorough, prepared, and precise while working my case. She presented in herself in a very professional manner while maintaining an open line of communication between all parties involved. I must also mention that her office staff were also a reflection of her work ethic and were as thorough, efficient, and considerate of my situation as she was during that time. Both Anne and staff members were able to take documentation I had provided them with and use it to help build a winning case. It remained clear to me throughout my ordeal that Anne Banford continuously had my best interest at heart. Her skill set and dedication of her time allowed my case to be settled in mediation; thus keeping the case out of court. Anne K. Banford's intelligence, abilities, her access to senior lawyers within her firm, cleverness, and compassion gives her the tools for success. Personally, I feel that there is nothing too big or too small that Anne could not take on and come out as the successor.

She was recently named President of the Younger Lawyers of the Northeastern Bar Association, a fitting accolade for this diligent attorney.
