Contempt Action

There is enough stress involved when trying to prepare yourself to take someone back to court for contempt of an order. Anne K. Banford was my "ace in the hole" when I was forced to take my ex-wife back to court for a contempt action against specific orders that were stated in our divorce decree. ... Anne was very efficient, thorough, prepared, and precise while working my case. She presented in herself in a very professional manner while maintaining an open line of communication between all parties involved. I must also mention that her office staff were also a reflection of her work ethic and were as thorough, efficient, and considerate of my situation as she was during that time. Both Anne and staff members were able to take documentation I had provided them with and use it to help build a winning case. It remained clear to me throughout my ordeal that Anne Banford continuously had my best interest at heart. Her skill set and dedication of her time allowed my case to be settled in mediation; thus keeping the case out of court. Anne K. Banford's intelligence, abilities, her access to senior lawyers within her firm, cleverness, and compassion gives her the tools for success. Personally, I feel that there is nothing too big or too small that Anne could not take on and come out as the successor.

Very professional and prompt.

I had Anne represent me in a modification of child support and child custody case, where I was the Defendant. From the very first meeting, Anne was very attentive and thorough. She began working on my case immediately, taking notes and asking all the right questions. I felt Anne was extremely kno...wledgeable about this type of case. Anne was very supportive of me and still very to the point. She helped me stay on track mentally and emotionally reminding me about the main goal in this situation. Being very professional and prompt, I was never left in the dark about anything. Anne answered all of my questions, phone calls and emails almost immediately. I honestly felt like I was her only client. My case was settled in mediation. I am extremely pleased with the way Anne handled my case and I highly recommend her.

This lawyer is wonderful. She helped me, a father of two, to get joint custody of my baby boys. It is a great day for fathers everywhere. She gives hope to the good fathers out there, that they may too have all the rights that they are entitled to. Thank you for all your hard work on my case.... I think you are a great lawyer. I appreciate all the time you took to make sure I was clear on every topic and subject. I will forever be grateful that I met you and that I had a chance to work with you. You were always professional and courteous. You had a way of making me feel secure in my decisions. I am fully satisfied with the outcome of my mediation and wish you all the best in future cases. I am happy to be able to continue spending time with my children, raising and comforting and teaching them. I hope that they enjoy a happy and fulfilling life with me and their mother both being there for them when they need us. Thanks to your hard work and great mediation skills we won a victory for all fathers. I hope every father finds someone like you to help them along at a time when everything around seems grim and the future is uncertain. I am truly happy now thanks to you.

"Anne Banford's desire to help the broken families within Gainesville and the North Georgia community is commendable. Her extensive experience and hard work has lead to several terrific wins for our clients. Anne has recently assisted with several complex "paper heavy" projects, during which she showed extreme organization and fast grasp of difficult legal isuues. She was recently named President of the Younger Lawyers of the Northeastern Bar Association, a fitting accolade for this diligent attorney.
