Frank Arthur Cornelius Jr

I thought it was an oxymoron to say "trustworthy attorney" before we met Frank Cornelius. Although our case was a relatively small civil suit to others, it could have meant serious financial ruin for my family. Even after we filed bankruptcy, we were still faced with a legal battle and jury trial. Th...is was a HUGE deal to us. We found Mr. Cornelius through a referral agency at my husband's job. Our first meeting was a phone discussion and Frank was nice enough to give us 2 consultations because my husband and I couldn't be on the same call. He gave us a solid opinion and plan of attack right away. He was even honest enough to tell us that we could take the same action that he would and save ourselves the money. My husband and I weren't comfortable with that given the other parties that were involved, so we discussed it and hired Frank to help us. His retainer was very reasonable for our solidly "middle-class-with-kids-and-bills" family. As I mentioned above, as court cases go, ours was a small one. But Frank treated our case like it was a priority and called us frequently to let us know what was happening. He spoke to the other attorneys involved in the case on our behalf and his knowledge of civil law saved us from a trial. He was able to resolve our case quickly and professionally. His fees were fair and his billing process was transparent. He even took my panicked, overreacting calls when we got more court paperwork in the mail. My husband and I both thought that Frank did a great job and was professional, helpful and honest each step of the way. We called dozens of attorneys before we found Frank, and none of them were even willing to talk to us without thousands in retainer fees and an agreement that a trial was inevitable. As a middle class working family, we couldn't afford a trial (even if we were in the right). Frank took the case and handled it with the same seriousness that we felt, which was very reassuring - even though he knew that he was not going to make millions of dollars by taking our case. I hope that we don't have any more legal issues because they are so nerve wracking but if we did ever need an attorney again, my first call would be to Frank Cornelius.
