Of course, I am extremely pleased with the results, but felt it necessary to write this letter. From day one, Mr. Ally used all possible forms of defense that resulted in both a dismissal and an acquittal. In most occasions, he was required to out-perform, litigate and work harder then the state was required, due to multiple dis-favorable rulings along the way-where instead of being assumed “innocent’, I was assumed “guilty”. Nonetheless, Mr. Ally consistently met each challenge with great exuberance and increased momentum. I am confident that I could not and most likely would not have received any better counsel had I been able to hire a private attorney. I felt an immediate trust with Mr. Ally, and I let him know that believed in him. My particular case was an interesting one whereby a possible double jeopardy may have occurred. Having my case dismissed and then re-opened however allowed Mr. Ally and his newly then added co-counsel, Mr. Lapidus, to prove to the judicial system that real lawyering and intelligent legal finesse as well as perfectly timed motions and a killer defense is at the heart of the public defenders office in the 15th circuit, Palm Beach County.
