High quality and professional law firm

After many years of marriage, I divorced my husband. Esmond made me feel comfortable, explained each step of the divorce and helped me through all the hurdles. Esmond Kim went above and beyond and I would recommend this firm to everyone.

We hired Mr. Kim for a family matter, he did an excellent job and we were very happy with his advice and handling of our case. Would recommend him, he kept us informed and was very honest.

Knowledgeable, Personable and Reasonable Fees

I've consulted with Esmond on two different matters - a divorce and a collection matter. He has the right mix of technical knowledge, people skills and perhaps equally important, he can get the job down at a reasonable cost to his clients. He's dedicated to providing his clients with good service,... results and value. I can recommend Esmond without hesitation.

Standout attorney

I offer my highest recommendation to select EYK Law - Esmond Kim for your legal needs!! Here is why: Esmond Kim definitely knows the mechanics of the law--but what sets him apart from other firms - is his unique strategic approach in accomplishing the "right and best" goals for his client. For me per...sonally he was a positive and strategic leader and catalyst in the settling (&) mediation of my father's probate estate ( without a Will) between all the heirs (my siblings). It was a very contentious litigation. Esmond stepped in and strategically mediated the situation -- his mediation style helped all of the heirs find common ground in which to start negotiations. Ultimately, the estate was settled and closed according to the state and federal laws-- with the heirs greatly benefitting -- but much more importantly, the estate was settled to the satisfaction of several heirs. Esmond provided me with great & strategic counsel to help me in my decision making as the Personal Representative of my dad's estate...but also helped guide me thru a terrible situation with my other siblings. Esmond Kim, and his law firm, are extraordinary!!!! Thank you.

Billing Dispute

I hired Esmond Kim to represent me on two occasions. Most recently, I hired Esmond when an insurance company, a hospital, and a medical provider and I were engaged in a dispute over medical bills. My position was that the medical facilities used the wrong insurance billing codes for my treatment, lea...ding to thousands of dollars in unjustified bills. I attempted to resolve the situation on my own, and I got nowhere. As soon as I hired Esmond, he listened to my side of the story and drafted legal documents and represented me as my attorney. He served the legal documents on the right parties, and he followed up with the medical providers and insurers. He kept me updated the whole time. The hospital finally admitted that a coding error did, in fact occur, and the hospital asked the insurance company to change the billing. This lead to a $0.00 balance on my bills, to my relief. I felt vindicated thanks to Esmond's legal work. On another occasion, I hired Esmond to litigate a dispute with a property management company. Before I hired Esmond, I did not feel like I could achieve my goals. After I hired Esmond, he listened to my concerns, he examined my legal documents, and he investigated the facts. He presented this in a legal fashion to the property management company, and all sides resolved the dispute based on Esmond's work, without having to have an expensive trial. I was happy that the property management company gave me a full release from my lease, without penalties, which I'm sure I could not have achieved on my own.
