Biography
Prior to being an attorney, I worked as a Felony Probation Officer with the 16th Circuit Court. I prepared presentence reports and scored sentencing guidelines on a daily basis. I am very familiar with the probaiton and probation violation process. I also have experience as a certified addictions counselor. I worked as a substance abuse counselor for 6 years before going to law school. This give me a unique understanding of clients suffering with substance use disorders, and an ability to empathize and really communicate to the courts the special needs of those with problems with addiction.
