His expert counsel allowed me to decide how I wanted to proceed; he gave advice on what he thought was best while giving me a complete picture of all available options. I consulted Eric for legal advice when negotiating a short-term lease. The advice and service I needed was quite time sensitive. Eric went to work and was helping me immediately after my initial request; he had already begun drafting revisions to the Landlord's copy of the lease, and answered all of ...my questions after a brief phone conversation within hours. He even completely re-wrote the lease using simple and clear terminology, including all the details and minor changes I requested, within the same day as my request! Eric continued to help immensely while navigating my landlady's strange requests, further communications, and apparent aversion to changes I (and Eric) requested be made to her original lease over the course of the following days. He was there with me the whole way. Even after the legal transaction with the Landlord was complete and I had signed the lease, Eric continued to check on me throughout the month term of my stay to make sure everything was alright and that I was not having any trouble with my landlord. In my case, everything turned out to be fine and the Landlord was not deceptive about the terms of her lease. However, I didn't fear that possibility in the slightest since I knew I had Eric's helpful advice and guidance at the ready.
