Eric Scott Brumfield

I hired Mr. Brumfield to represent me in a wrongful foreclosure suit. He promised me he was excited to get right to work on this case. I paid him $2500 upfront to get started and 30 days later, all he had done was a substitution of counsel and file for an extension. We had agreed on a plan of appr...oach and that was not followed. What's worse is that he wouldn't take my calls, nor respond to my email. After 30 days of this behavior, I sent an email ending the relationship and requesting a refund. He refused, claiming the fee was non-refundable. So, basically, this guy wants money, but doesn't want to work, from what I can see.

I first hired Eric in 2017 when I was looking for a lawyer to look into all the issues I was having with my association. They were not responding to any of my requests to repair the outside walls. We won the case and I will be receiving damages. I then hired him to update my living trust, will and po...wer of attorney papers. In 2019 I hired him again for a civil suite against the same association (although they paid damages, they didn't fix the issue). He is very knowledgeable, efficient and wins cases! I have referred him to several of my friends and colleagues. I am so glad I found Eric - he is my go-to lawyer.
