My wife was arrested on 3-21-16 and I contacted Mr. Barquinero to represent my wife. He seemed very caring and open in our phone call. I met him at his office the follow morning 4-20-16 and paid him the amount of money that we agreed and I asked him repeatedly if there would be any other money for hi...s services and was told only if the case when to court. On 5-2-16 the day before my wife first court date Mr. Barquinero called me and said I would need to pay him an extra amount of money before he would go to court with my wife the following day. I asked what the money was for and he told me that it was for extra work he had done on my wife’s case, when I asked what the extra work was for, He would not give me a straight answer. I told him about your conversation in his office and he told me that “the extra work wasn’t coved by what I paid him” I asked again what the extra work was for and I continued to get a run around from him. He told me if I didn’t pay the money to him that day be would not go with my wife to court the following day. On 5-3-16 we fired Mr. Barquinero and got a new lawyer.
