Emmet Heywood Carney

I hired Mr. Carney for an expunction process. I emailed him a week later to see where we were at and he stated he had spoken with the DA about my case. Great! I was told he would be filing the necessary papers the next day and he would email me a copy. After 2 weeks and no return email, I emailed him... to which he responded he had a death in the family. Understandable! I waited 2 more weeks to contact him when I hadn't received anything yet as he promised and I got no email response. The next 4 weeks I spent calling, emailing to no avail. My sister did reach him twice and he stated he was having email troubles and that he would get an email to me soon. That never happened and then he stopped answering her calls too. I finally received a full refund of my money in the mail with no explanation of why he wasted 2 months of my time. I have since hired another lawyer and got more information within the first 2 hours and papers are filed the next day. Not sure what Mr. Carney was doing for 2 months but it is evident he never did anything with my case. DO NOT HIRE!!!!
