Post-Divorce House Sale and Child Custody

I approached Elizabeth Smith a couple years ago about helping me get out of a financial obligation on a home mortgage. This mortgage was acquired during a previous marriage, and upon divorce my ex-wife was supposed to refinance. She never did and stopped paying the mortgage, which got me into a diffi...cult situation with the bank. Elizabeth did an amazing job getting the sale of the house forced by the court. It took just under a year to get done, and got me out of a looming foreclosure. Her advice was always sound, and her strategy in court paid off. I thought I was done, but then problems with my child prompted me to ask her for advice, and eventually seek custody of my son. It's not often a court decides to grant custody of a child to the father. I believe Elizabeth Smith's strategy on how to handle the case and her genuine interest in seeing my child's interests put at the forefront resulted in my getting his custody. Still many months later, she follows up with me and makes sure we are helping my child in the best possible way. She has been amazing, professional, efficient, and I would recommend her any day.

Excellent Family Law Attorney

Ms. Smith provided me with great service at a great value. She took the time to listen to my questions and concerns and then answered and explained them in the context of the law. She was courteous and a pleasure to work with.

REPRESENTATION FOR DISABILITY APPEAL HEARING

SHE RECEIVED MY CASE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE APPROXIMATELY 1-1.5 MONTHS BEFORE TRIAL DATE WITH A MESS OF A FILE FROM A NON-PROFIT AGENCY SITTING ON THEIR LAURELS FOR TWO YEARS AND SHE PULLED US THROUGH WITH A POSITIVE OUTCOME. I HAVE BEEN SINGING HER PRAISES EVER SINCE. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE.... I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT SHE IS CAPABLE OF IF GIVEN THE CASE RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE. THANK YOU ELIZABETH!

Custody, Support

Elizabeth, represented me in custody and support matters. She did a phenomenal job of making sure that I was knowledgeable of my rights as a father.
