6 years we hired him to file a chapter 13 He overslept and was late to the trustee meeting...we showed the trustee our bills and she didn't believe our paperwork.,.this guy sat there and never said a word...he seemed to be working for the trustee.. the payback schedule was outragious....he made a c...omment to my wife that she would have to give up having her nails done...she never had her nails done..we told him we did not want to go though with the ch 13. It went through anyway. We have been dealing with this mess ever since Not reliable!

This lawyer should be held accountable for his actions. He is very unprofessional and left us completely baffled by his behavior and his conduct. He is an embarrassment to his profession. He did not properly close our chapter 13 and tried place the blame with us. We in turn had to hire another lawy...er at our added expense to correct his mistakes. I do not recommend retaining Mr. Gagnon under any circumstances. Learn from our mistakes !!

Not sufe where to start. .. we hired Don 6 years ago for our Chapter 13 filing. We were told we would be in the payment plan for 3 years at 200.00 per month only to have trustee hit us with 5 years and 600.00 per month! Don never fought for us we were told that the law changed and that we were stuck.... Not knowing all the legal stuff and being very fearful we played for the 5 years. Upon completion we had to convert to a chapter 7. He does not KNOW anything about getting rid of past tax debt. I had to research, learn and school him about getting rid of our past tax debt. He will not work for you. In the end our 5 year chapter 13 case that was converted to a chapter 7 was DISMISSED all together. Needed to hire another BK attorney to to clean up the mess and get a fresh start. He and hs assistant do not answer the phone, emails go unanswered and when his back is up against the wall and he feels threatened we were to blame. I wish that we kept better records of all of our interactions with his practice so we could hold him accountable for malpractice. Once he gets you in the door (if you are lucky enough to have your call answered) and takes your money you will not see or speak to him again unless he needs something from you. Works very odd hours, not available if emergency comes up. Need I say more??? STAY AWAY!!!

I have never seen a business run so poorly. How can you take people who are at their wits end financially, and literally leave them hanging without so much as a returned phone call? This man took a $500.00 deposit 2 months ago and we haven't had ANY contact with him since!!! I will have to hire anoth...er attorney for my BK and another to get my $500.00 back!!

This attorney does not return phone calls, nor does anyone answer his phone. The only answer you will get is an old message from someone who worked for him long ago. Then after the message you will get another message that tells you the messages are full! So, if you need to talk to your attorney i...n this case, you will need to track him down by some other means. He is also a very angry person who sounds like he should be doing something else rather than helping those in need when it comes to the law. If you reprimand him you better be ready because he is very stressed out and won't ever admit he made a mistake!!
