Original service was estate planning. I was happy. She purported to be experienced in landlord/tenant issues. Late at one court appearance, then disappeared to handle another case in another courtroom timed simultaneously with mine. She’s experienced in bankruptcy. To me it’s like the whole ...“experienced with landlord/tenant.” Tenant announced in court she was in bankruptcy. According to this attorney that had nothing to do with me. After checking with (and ultimately hiring another attorney) I was subject to litigation if eviction proceeded, even if I wasn’t a listed creditor. She didn’t know this. Tried to file eviction papers completed by her. Sheriff’s’ office said they were no good as the defendant information improperly worded. Called her and she adamantly insisted that she used that wording all the time with no problem. She told me to talk to a uniformed sheriff, which I did. He told me the wording was no good. Filing delayed because a judge had to approve an amendment for the bad language in my the motion. Another delay by the tenant who took us before the judge again for a motion to delay the eviction. This is also when the original motion she prepared had to be (because of the incorrect wording) amended. Much consternation from judge of her lack of understanding of legal language because she didn’t know the words that he told her to write on the motion to make it retroactive, and because the defendant language was incorrect. Judge denied tenant's motion. Final straw prompting this review: Sheriff couldn’t proceed with eviction because paperwork for motion from the tenant had not been completed for submission to Sheriff. Finally prepared the filing and went before the judge myself. If the paperwork was going to be wrong, at least I didn’t have to pay to further delay the process. I take no joy in this. She is very nice, but if you are inexperienced in an area, you should not say otherwise. That is very dangerous and expensive when dealing with the law.

If I could give no stars, I would. Did not file my bankruptcy on the date when she said she would, doesn't return calls, emails, texts. Not very knowledgeable whatsoever. Everytime I call, I hear screaming kids in the background. Now my bankruptcy is screwed up big time and I cannot even get her to ...react in a timeful manner on that either. Three weeks and counting while she ignores my calls and texts.
