Best Investment in my child custody case. I couldn't have found a better lawyer if I tried.

To anyone seeking a high quality divorce or child custody attorney/lawyer, I have been a client of Dianna Gould-Saltman for nearly a year. I can truly speak from personal experience as an individual who has hired 3 divorce lawyers in the past when I tell you Dianna Gould-Saltman is by far the best... attorney I have had the privilege of having represent me as my attorney. From the initial consultation with Dianna around a year ago, one immediately believes and can sense Dianna takes lots of pride in her legal profession and cares about your case. Dianna asks you for pertinent details about your case/current situation, and then lays out the facts and possible scenarios for your case. Dianna provides you the reality-based possible outcomes and not some misinformed promises you often hear advertised by other lawyers. Dianne has the patience of an elementary school teacher when she explains the legal processes in detail and the next steps to follow as she guides you through the various legal phases of your case. Dianna promptly responds to your calls and emails and does what she says she will do. Dianna has an unmatched divorce and child custody resource library. In reading the various legal articles written by Dianna, you immediately obtain a sense of confidence in Dianna's strong level of knowledge, experience and competence in this specialized legal field. The literature ranges from the basics on how to dress for court to the legal interpretation and opinions on prior milestone divorce cases. In court, Dianna was clearly prepared. Dianna had done her research on the Judge, opposing counsel, the venue and the strategic legal plan for my case. Dianna took charge of my case; meaning, she spoke on behalf of both attorneys before the judge. This can be advantageous when your attorney’s knowledge clearly outshines that of the opposing counsel. As a follow up, Dianna and her superb and supportive staff ensured I was on top of my case. Any forms required to be returned, information from opposing counsel and timelines to be met were promptly reported to me. In an era where many attorneys tend to show more self interest than that of their client’s best interest and appear to encourage further conflict between the ex-spouses (which increases the costs of your case and extends your tension), Dianna takes a matter of fact approach in working with apposing counsel, providing you with very sound professional advice and finding the best solutions for the interest of your child and you, her client (yes, in that order). I was one of those individuals who had become a cynic of the word “lawyer” and started buying into the lawyer jokes about their incompetence, bad reputation and the belief that very few good lawyers existed. But after my experience with Dianna, I now have a renewed faith in the legal profession and professionalism displayed by some lawyers which was primarily brought upon by this phenomenal lawyer by the name of Dianna Gould-Saltman. I strongly believe I could have combined my past 3 divorce lawyers to work as a team and could put them head to head against Dianna and I would still feel these 3 combined lawyers would require additional support in order to match the skills, professionalism and know-how of Dianna. Don’t simply just take my word for this recommendation. Do your homework (as you should always do), speak with Dianna, other lawyers and compare. I truly believe you’ll find that after all your research, selecting the right attorney for your case will be an easy decision. Dianna is worth her weight in gold. I wish you the best of luck with your case!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
