I HIGHLY recommend hiring literary attorney Denise Gibbon to review and draft all contracts. I've heard some horror stories from authors who had no idea certain clauses existed in their contract. It is a minimal expense that could save you a lot of money in the future. She really helped me understand... why it is so important to read EVERYTHING before you sign any legally binding contract. Denise Gibbon, was so amazing! She's like a literary angel! She negotiated over a dozen concessions for me, and both parties signed the contract very happy. 5 stars for me, hands down!
