I trusted her with my case and paid her $3,400 over a year ago, expecting her to fight for me. Instead, she never appe...ared in court on my behalf. Every time I asked about scheduling a hearing, she told me that opposing counsel wasn’t available or that the court’s calendar was full. After hearing the same excuses for months, I finally contacted the court myself. The judge’s assistant told me they had never had those discussions with my attorney. That was the moment I realized I had been misled. What hurt the most was that after she filed a motion to withdraw from my case, a hearing was suddenly scheduled without the delays she had repeatedly blamed on the court or opposing counsel.
