Temporary help turned into claims on my home & address

Briefly: An offer fora temporary stay as an unpaid guest turned into the guy claiming 24/7 rights to my home and address/mail, etc. He started out being nice, charming and claimed he knew about or how to do everything, etc. But soon He’d became nasty, fault finding, bossy, name calling and bad mou...thing me to my neighbors etc, and also soon became verbally abusive & more demanding & expensive than I could handle etc and was blaming all kinds of things on me. When he insisted he had rights to my home, mail & address, ie, is when I went to see Mr Keck. He set the matter straight in minutes. Because the guy had signed nothing, and had not contributed to any costs & utilities etc he had zero claims on mail, residency, storage etc or anything, and what I was told to do is write a personal letter to him and hand it to him to get him and his things out or they became abandoned property. The guy played with me setting up multiple times to come get his stuff and then not doing it. And during this time he became even more nasty and even telling me I was evil and the god I prayed to is Satan. I also found out he had strangled someone and the judge had a recommendation for life in jail on his next case. So this needy & self-proclaimed smart wonderful person with all this pain & problems turned out to me a nightmare. I thank Mr David Keck for his knowledge and advice but I just wish the Police had more protections in dealing with liars and threatening individuals like this. I’m feeling very vulnerable and threatened and you’d think there would be additional protection based on his past record. I just pray that this is resolved peacefully and possibly for the highest good of all involved.

One of the Best Attorneys Out There! Impressed Beyond Words! Smart, Easy Going, and SOO HELPFUL with ANYTHING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had been referred to Attorney David Keck through a series of mishaps done by WI Lawyer Referral Services, for free legal aid. The case was regarding what was supposed to be a tenant and landlord case that never transpired into such, but rather a confusing set of events instead. An Ernest money was ...given to hold an apartment that my fiance and I decided against living in a few days after being held, due to his grandfather falling ill, leaving a blurry line as to whether work would be halted and rent would get paid or not. The landlord ultimately kept the monies, in the amount of $875.00, and tried to argue that the form I filled out, which was a copy of his typical rental agreement, was signed by me and is a valid contractual agreement made. The understanding we had when signing that form was that it was a receipt, and that he was going to have me fill it out so he would have my information, and his secretary would type up an actual agreement for us to sign at a later date. There were no dates on this form, although they did magically appear the day we had trial for this case. Attorney Keck took my case and did it completely free. It was a long and cumbersome case and in Fond du Lac, whereas he is in Oshkosh. I felt terrible not agreeing to mediation and he insisted that there was nothing to feel bad about. He fought extremely hard, was very well educated on my case and had no reason to be, got evidence admissible in court the same day we had trial, stayed very calm with all the shenanigans the defendants pulled, never had anything to complain about nor make me feel bad about not being a paying client. He even so much as gave me advice on numerous other issues I had at the same time with other life issues, and said to call him if they became problems. I felt very comfortable with this attorney and at no point in time did I feel like he felt as if I was a burden in his life or schedule. He doesn't act like he is too good to give advice if you're not paying for it prior to asking, he is extremely smart, very nice, not at all intimidating, and simply a well rounded guy. I truly would recommend him to anyone and everyone for any cases ge would take. He fought his butt off for me and wasn't getting paid a cent. He had about 5 meetings and 5 court dates for this small claims case, for my lowsy Ernest money back, when he has an extensive schedule, I'm sure, and he showed for every single one; Dealt with my attitude towards the landlord, hours of court, mediation, trial, and so on. Highly HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! SIMPLY GREAT! AMAZING! He even so much as after court, when we won, met me and said that he will fill out all the forms to try to get the money back from him and that he may try to stall out paying me. That's in no way his fault, but he still found the need to let me know this. So nice. Normally people only write reviews when they are mad or extremely angry. That is the only time you think to write them. The other time you think to write a review is when someone did something SO INSPIRING that it makes you feel humbled. That is what this attorney has done for me. From his kindness for the client that has or doesn't have pay, to the offering his knowledge at all times, to taking his time with you, to being extremely smart, I am just simply elated by this attorney and couldn't be happier. Thank you again!
