I had an out of State custody issue prior to hiring Mr Heier I was getting no where. Based on reviews I took a chance and was extremely at ease immediately. He was on top of everything and my case was was in our favor. There were no hidden fees at the end.. Every thing was cut and dry . If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. Mr. Heier became my attorney for a custody dispute when my previous one decided last minute he could no longer work for me due to a new job offer in another city. I was scared and had just a couple of days to find another attorney before my first court ...date, and I am so thankful that I found Mr. Heier. David has worked so hard to help me gain residency of my children when we knew it would be an uphill battle. Mr. Heier has been our calm in what has been a stormy year and a half of litigation, and has gone above and beyond what any attorney will or would do. He is compassionate about his clients and their cases. We never had an issue being able to get ahold of him when we had an issue or question as he promptly returned all of our phone calls, emails, and texts messages. He worked tirelessly to make sure that our new Custody Order was drafted quickly and signed within a matter of days. I would highly recommend him.

I had to hire David due to a conflict of interest with my own attorney. He helped me win my case with his excellent negotiating skills, assertiveness and years of experience in family law. He knew my best interests, what my desired outcome was, and what my strong and weak points were as far as argume...nts. He put it all together and we came out on top and the other party settled in our favor. As far as the previous review on David - why would you expect him to continue to work for you when you stopped paying your bill? Would you go to work if you knew you weren't going to get paid? Meet your obligation and maybe someone will put forth an honest effort for you. You also stated he didn't have much to go on. Why are you going to court without any factual ammunition? Your review sounds ridiculous. David's retainer is reasonable if you're serious about winning your case. You get what you pay for in my opinion. He did a great job for me is all I can say and I will hire him again in a second if I need to.

Mr. Heier is so impressive that when he took my daughters case I was no longer concern that justice would be served. He truly knows the law and can handle himself very, very well in the court room. My daughter could not have had a better attorney representing her, he always looked for fairness... for both parties and always consider the childs best interest. My daughter went through 3 attorney's before hiring Mr. Heier and due to their lack of experience this case has cost her a pretty penny, so 2 years later we found the RIGHT man to represent her. It has been 1 1/2 year now that he has worked for her and he has truly been God sent. Overall Mr. Heier is a class act attorney that knows the law and that is important to have that kind of representation in the court room. We as a family could not have asked for a better attorney.
