A Professional, Intelligent, and Considerate Attorney

Several years back I was searching for a reputable and knowledgeable attorney for a patent application. Peter Chu came highly recommended via a law firm that I work with in another state. I had not been through the patent application process before so it was important to me to work with someone who... had experience with the process and patience with me. Peter took the time in our initial meetings to discuss and outline the process. He guided the application process efficiently, helping us bring the necessary focus and content to our application. Peter remained vigilant and positive throughout the time that it took to bring our patent to fruition and ultimately we were awarded our patent.

Review for Peter Chu

I used Peter for all our patent application and review work since we launched our company 3.5 years ago. He's been great to work with - he's been proactive in keeping me abreast of new developments and I'd recommend him to anyone needing to do patent work in the consumer electronics space.

If you need the best, I highly recommend D.C. Peter Chu

I’m pleased to have the opportunity of providing a review for D.C. Peter Chu. I have known Peter for seven years, and he has represented my technology company for the last five. Over the years, Peter has handled a range of intellectual property and business law matters for us. I am always impress...ed with the high quality of work he produces. Peter is an expert in intellectual property law. In addition to his many qualifications, his prior work as a patent examiner gives him a comprehensive approach for building strategic patent applications with strong defendable claims. My company invented a web technology, and in 2005 Peter drafted and filed a patent application for it. A demonstration of his expertise is that he has overcome every rejection from the USPTO by pointing to the original claims in the application, in other words, Peter gets it right the first time. Peter is reliable. I can always count on him to deliver on schedule, and on budget. He arranges his resources in a way that he can always provide what my business needs, which has enabled us to capitalize on many opportunities. In 2006, I was in Silicon Valley and needed a custom IP transfer agreement right away, Peter expedited one and I was able to complete the transaction the following day. Speaking both personally and on behalf of my company, I look forward to doing business with Peter in the years to come. I feel very comfortable recommending him to peers and other businesses.

Peter Chu

Peter is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We brought a product to market and from the very beginning Peter was helpful and guided us with our intellectual property questions. I have and will continue to refer others to him for IP concerns.
