Cody M. Ibasfalean

Cody was born and raised in Manatee County, Florida. He graduated from Bayshore High School in 2004, Manatee Community College in 2009, and University of South Florida in 2013 with honors. He attended Stetson University College of Law on an academic scholarship, and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2016.

Following his graduation from law school, he began working as a family law attorney for Gulfcoast Legal Services. During his time with GLS, he provided free and low cost legal services to hundreds of clients, the majority of whom were victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. He would go on to become the Supervising Attorney for the Manatee Family Law Project.

Cody is currenty working in the Non-profit sector providing assistance to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking in in family Court.   

Outside of work, Cody enjoys reading, cooking, catching up with friends, and spending time with his family.

Cody lives with his wife and four boys in Manatee County.

Cody is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and admitted to the practice in the Middle District of Florida (Federal).
