Clinton Jonathon Sonny Behrends

On December 21st 2018 I started my new job as a maintenance man for a local Christian school. I was very excited and I did my best to make a good impression on my new boss (Mike). At the end of my first week, I felt pretty good. It was Friday evening, soon to be dark and it was raining hard. ... It was a perfect time to go for a run (jog). My reflective vest went on and I went running. 10 minutes later I found myself face down on the pavement, wondering how I got there. During my jog I was crossing a side street (within a crosswalk), the car making the left turn didn't see me until it was too late. My left knee was broken immediately as I rolled on to the hood of the car and back to the pavement. Later, when I told my new boss Mike what happened, he immediately referred me to a lawyer by the name of Sonny Behrends. Mike told me about his own car accident years ago and how Sonny Behrends helped him in more ways than he could possibly count. After my first initial phone conversation with Sonny Behrends I came away with a feeling of trust because he actually listened to me and he spoke with kindness while being honest/realistic about the possibilities of my situation. It has been a full year now, since the accident. Sonny and his assistant Esther have been absolutely and incredibly wonderful throughout this entire process. Here are just a few of the reasons I will be grateful to them both forever: Their personal support and caring shine through in all that they do. They handed me a check that was bigger than anything I thought possible. The courtesies they both extended to me and the patience they practiced when I made mistakes, is priceless.
