I hired Mr Huff for my brother who was facing many felonies and a very lengthy stay in prison. Right from the start Mr Huff spoke me with because my brother was incarcerated and he kept me well informed as to what was happening with the case. During this process we suffered many family problems w...ith my sister having a life threatening illness and the loss of our father. Mr Huff was able to obtain furloughs for my brother so that he was able to spend time with our father during his final days here with us. And he was able to leave the state to be in Rochester with our sister. In the end he was able to get my brother out of jail and not on his way to prison. I would recommend Mr Huff to anyone he did a great job for my brother. My brother is now home with his family getting the help he needs with his addictions. This was not a normal attorney client situation what with the family issues we suffered and Mr Huff and his staff were great to work with.

My brother had been involved in a road rage incident with an individual who possessed an extensive history of drug abuse and criminal activity. Although my brother was not the initiating party, because he left the scene, albeit to diffuse the situation, he found himself in a vulnerable legal situatio...n. My brother had been visiting from his home in Minnesota to attend my daughter's birthday party, and was not familiar with the reputations of attorneys in our are area. Initially, I recommended another local attorney, who handled the case. However, a year after the case had been closed, my brother was needing to have legal counsel communicate with a state board in his profession, regarding the matter. His original attorney had assured him that he would handle any questions or concerns from the state board concerning my brother's case. Unfortunately, we came to learn that the original attorney my brother had retained, had, without notice, retired and relinquished his licence. It was at this point that my brother reached out to Mr. Huff. Mr. Huff always made us feel comfortable when discussing the case, even though the incident caused both my brother and I some embarrassment. We were very impressed with how thoroughly Mr. Huff explained issues and asked questions. Mr. Huff promptly returned all emails and phone calls. Additionally, with my brother's consent, Mr. Huff was more than willing to keep me abreast of the situation, even though this required more time. While I am sure this case would be considered small in comparison to the majority of Mr. Huff's caseload, he always made us feel that our questions and concerns were valid and valued. My brother and I always felt like Mr. Huff spent more than ample time handling my brother's situation. Overall, Mr. Huff was professional, thorough, polite, understanding, and compassionate. We could not have been more pleased with how he handled the matter, and we would readily recommend Mr. Huff to others.

Last year, my husband and I attempted to help my brother, who has a disability, contest a speeding ticket. The entire ordeal left all of us feeling as though the justice system is not equipped to assist those who have a disability and also do not have a guardian. Then, last winter he was involved in... a minor car accident and received a ticket. Again, he wanted to contest the ticket, but all of us were worried the stressful environment of the courtroom combined with the communication struggles he has would have made it nearly impossible for my brother to explain his side of the story. Mr. Huff was able to successfully represent my brother and obtain a more than fair result. Hopefully, my brother won't find himself needing legal representation for any additional tickets or accidents. It's comforting to know there are attorneys like Mr. Huff who understands the unique challenges those with disabilities sometimes face within our justice system and will do what he can to obtain a fair result.
