I had the great pleasure of working with Chantelle Robinson of Tate Lounsbery's 'Lounsbery Law Office' on my CACI Grievance Hearing in Orange County, CA. I don't know yet whether I've won or lost, but I want to say that by the date of my hearing, Chantelle felt like a trusted and valued family membe...r. Aside from being highly skilled and well-prepared in matters relating to my CACI case, Chantelle was also an empathetic ear, a vocal supporter, a kind friend, and an attentive mentor - all of the extra qualities that you critically need in an attorney when it seems as though your whole life is falling apart. Even though the child abuse charges were false, the cards seemed stacked against me and I felt extreme shame in discussing the referral with anyone I knew because I was afraid that they would secretly think I was a terrible person to have even been singled out by Social Services in the first place. Discussing my case with Chantelle over an extended period of time until my hearing (including doing the several "homework assignments") helped to remove some of the self-imposed psychological stigma that I had wrongly placed on myself for being falsely accused of child abuse. I have never felt a true connection with attorneys. After all, they are hired to defend the interests of their client only; so I thought. The moment Chantelle was assigned to my case to represent me, we hit the ground running. She assigned me homework and based on navigating through their company web...site, I was prepared to do whatever it took to clear my name from this wrongful accusation. Chantelle always made herself available and answered each and every email I sent her. She was more organized than I am and that’s saying a lot! No matter how minuscule or irrelevant each piece of possible evidence or screenshot that I forwarded her, she took the time to study those items. At one point, I started sending her pages upon pages of documents that I certainly thought wouldn’t be worthwhile to include as evidence for my hearing, however she felt otherwise and moved to include them as exhibits. She took time to always keep me in the loop in regards to her thought process and throughout the hearing asked me how I was feeling. Without a doubt, I felt there was genuine concern of my well-being. I never thought an attorney would invest so much time and effort in my case but Chantelle did.
