I had the great pleasure of working with Chantelle Robinson of Tate Lounsbery's 'Lounsbery Law Office' on my CACI Grievance Hearing in Orange County, CA. I don't know yet whether I've won or lost, but I want to say that by the date of my hearing, Chantelle felt like a trusted and valued family membe...r. Aside from being highly skilled and well-prepared in matters relating to my CACI case, Chantelle was also an empathetic ear, a vocal supporter, a kind friend, and an attentive mentor - all of the extra qualities that you critically need in an attorney when it seems as though your whole life is falling apart. Even though the child abuse charges were false, the cards seemed stacked against me and I felt extreme shame in discussing the referral with anyone I knew because I was afraid that they would secretly think I was a terrible person to have even been singled out by Social Services in the first place. Discussing my case with Chantelle over an extended period of time until my hearing (including doing the several "homework assignments") helped to remove some of the self-imposed psychological stigma that I had wrongly placed on myself for being falsely accused of child abuse. Chantelle never treated me as though I was guilty of the charges and her outspoken manner consistently made me feel like my innocence in the matter was a foregone conclusion. Chantelle was always there for me on my case - passionate to a fault and ready to fight on my behalf against an inherently unfair and un-American system where you are always guilty until proven innocent, even when there is not a shred of tangible evidence against you. Chantelle tirelessly helped me prepare for cross-examination questions, even on her days off, and never made me feel like I was taking time away from her own family. Whatever the results of my CACI Grievance Hearing, I know that Chantelle did her very best to defend me and I highly recommend Chantelle as an extremely qualified attorney. My world was turned upside down when dcfs called me asking if I was aware of the sexual accusations I supposedly committed. I was in complete shock . Cps worker asked me to cooperate for the 30 day investigation . Cps worker treated me as if I was the worse person on earth. Immediately I knew I nee...ded help. These were false accusations and so I googled attorneys not knowing what type of representation I needed. I called 20 attorneys and only 3 called me back . Now I was ready, we prepared for the hearing and it was game on ! I felt like we build a good case to win . The truth will come out and shine out all darkness. During the hearing chantelle was always focused and reassuring I was doing ok. I felt like she genuinely was looking out for my well being aswell and not just to represent me and get it over with. I was referred to the Lounsbery Law Offices with two CACI case listings that I had no idea existed until I attempted to help out some family who had their children removed from their home by CPS. I may have known about CACI in a peripheral sort of way, but that all changed when CPS started digging ...into my back ground. You see, I had been married twice and went though some ugly custody battles in which all parties suspected each other and lots of accusations were voiced to lawyers and if that did not net a response, CPS. At the time (36 and 28 years ago) we spoke with CPS and on one occasion the police but no one was charged and visitation continued. Fast forward to the present and I have two CACI listings to my name?! At first I was truly upset as I could not understand how I could be on that list without being charged with something and how in the world was I going to fix this so I could help my family. That was were Tate Lounsbery and Chantelle Robinson came in. It was a true breath of fresh air when I spoke with Mr Lounsbery for the first time as he did not treat me as if I were guilty but listened to my story and said that he could actually address these listing and work on getting them removed. Needless to say I was ecstatic and cautiously optimistic though he did not promise a happy ending. He passed me to Chantelle who was patient and nonjudgmental. She worked with me and kept me on a time line to complete all the needed assignments (very necessary) and listened to my ramblings. The best part of this is that she was able to get my local CPS to review the cases to ascertain their veracity, get them to remove both of the CACI files and all without ever having to go to court! I could not be happier with the outcome! My only regret is no getting to tell them in person just how much clearing my name means to me.

If you have been wrongly accused of child abuse by CPS workers and your name was submitted to the Department of Justice, I highly (super highly) recommend that you work with Tate Lounsberry and Chantelle Robinson. Both of them are amazing! They are super organized and will walk you through the proc...ess of how to get your name removed however, it is very important that you follow through with the "assignments," they have listed on their website. Tate was prompt in returning my phone call and thoroughly explained the next steps on how I could get my name removed from CACI. Chantelle is very smart, and so awesome to work with!!! I can't thank her enough. Finally after 11 months of working with Chantelle, my name was just recently removed from the CACI listing! Chantelle was always accessible and answered all the questions I had about my case. She was very professional, organized and very knowledgeable about the laws pertaining to child abuse. There are no words that I can use to express my gratitude and happiness when I consider my experience with Chantelle. When I first spoke with Chantelle I was in a state of shock after being excused of abusing my own child by my ex-spouse. These false accusations lead to CPS substantiating abuse again...st me even though the accusations were completely false! Chantelle was the first lawyer to really listen and care for me with out judgement. She was so understanding and patient with me even when I was in a state of complete despair. In addition, she also worked very hard preparing and organizing for my hearing which helped me overcome the untrue substantiated abuse claim against me. When we were preparing for the hearing she actually remembered important detailed information that I had forgot. If you have dealt with any lawyers in the past this is very important. Having a good lawyer that actually listens and pays attentions is the key to success because when your are in a state of shock or emotional it's easy to forget important details. I never had to worry about anything with Chantelle because she was always prepared. Chantelle was truly my angel during the darkest time in my life. I honestly don't think I could of gotten through this ordeal if it wasn't for her. I will be forever grateful to her for her hard work and for believing in me when it felt like no one else did. Because of her I can now breath easy, continue working towards my goals in life, and live a happy life again.
