Carolyn Rose Detmer

Carolyn Detmer was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. She graduated from Wells College with a BA in Art History. In 2016, she received her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Ms. Detmer understands both the personal and familial stress a divorce can bring. She is committed to helping clients navigate the process with a calm and supportive practice, whether through the collaborat ive process or litigation.

Ms. Detmer has a robust trademark background, including time as an intern with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, working with the UNC Law School Trademark Clinic, where she independently handled all aspects of client cases, and extensive research in the field of trademark law. Ms. Detmer appreciates the importance of successfully developing and protecting your business’ brand. She is practiced in handling all aspects of the trademark application process, from the initial determination of the mark, to the application, and ultimate registration.
