Peter Anh Minh Tran

As a dynamic young Orange County criminal defense attorney, Peter Tran is driven by the desire provide his clients thorough and diligent representation while guiding them through the often intimidating criminal court process. Peter defends clients accused of a variety of misdemeanor and felony charges including driving under the influence (DUI),domestic violence charges, assault, and drug possession.

Peter obtained his undergraduate degree from University of California, Irvine and earned his law degree from American University's Washington College of Law in Washington D.C.

While in law school, Peter exhibited his passion for criminal law through his participation in American University, Washington College of Law's Criminal Justice Clinic. There he gained valuable experience conducting both bench and jury trials in criminal court. Through his participation in the Criminal Justice Clinic, Peter drafted a federal cert petition that was heard and granted by the Maryland Court of Appeals. Peter also served as a note and comment editor for the American University Law Review while in law school.

Prior to joining Shouse Law Group, Peter honed his criminal defense skills through a clerkship with the Orange County Public Defender's Office.

Peter practices throughout Orange County and the South Bay, including the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach, the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana, the North Justice Center in Fullerton, the West Justice Center in Westminster, the Long Beach courthouse and the LAX Airport courthouse.

When he isn't defending his clients, Peter loves to maintain an active lifestyle and can be found biking, camping, and hiking in his spare time.
