Mr. Rayburn was recommended by a colleague. When you are going through a difficult divorce, you want someone that has experience, as well as a good reputation. Not only did I get that, but much more. He is a person with compassion, patience and understanding...not only did he know my sons name, he w...ould often ask how my son is handling things with the changes in his life. Mr. Rayburn was always available to answer any questions (a lot) and offer guidance. He succeeded in getting everything accomplished without going to court, THAT tells you everything! I researched attorneys for my jurisdiction on behalf of a relative facing two traffic violations that could have ended with a license suspension and a $1,400 fine. The case was somewhat complicated due to a prior violation, and I felt it dictated the need for an attorney well versed in both the law a...nd the legal environment of the community. In addition, I was seeking someone who would take charge and not expect his client to do the talking during the proceedings, since my relative is not legally articulate. He did not make any promises that he was unable to keep; he outlined best and worst case scenarios (as well as his game plan if the best scenario did not work out), and he walked my relative through the entire process (and even out of the court house) as soon as the case was resolved, proving that he will be with you from start to finish. I do not anticipate ever needing him for traffic court again for my loved one; however, since he practices other types of law (like family law), then he would be the go-to person if such a need arises in the future.
