Steve Michmerhuizen

Steve graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was Articles Editor for the School Journal of Intellectual Property Law.  While in law school, Steve served as an academic research assistant and participated in an externship providing legal services to low income clients.  He was also awarded the Custer Tuggle Award for Excellence in Family Law.

Steve is a native of Michigan, where he attended Calvin College.  While in college, he received four All-American awards in track and field and set multiple school and league records.  After graduation from college in 1999, he was employed as a teacher and social worker prior to entering law school.

Steve is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Conasauga Bar Association.  He has been admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and all state and local trial courts.
