About Brittney
Biography
I am a first generation college graduate, and have been a life-long resident of Tennessee. After law school, I served as a clerk for Judge D. Bragg in Rutherford County Circuit Court. I am now proud to be practicing with Rob McKinney taking the legal knowledge and experience I have gained as a clerk to use helping my clients in defending a wide range of criminal charges.
During my clerkship I gained valuable experience in research and legal writing. As well observed numerous court proceedings.
Prior to my clerkship I worked at the Rutherford Public Defender’s office where I had the opportunity to practice law under the supervision of other Public Defenders. Through that experience, I have gained valuable experience in conducting preliminary hearings, violation of probation hearings, trial preparation, presenting direct testimony, cross-examining witnesses, interviewing clients, and managing the day to day rigor of General Sessions’ court.
