I was blessed to have Brian work on my child custody case. I found him very knowledgeable, he showed true concern for my case, put in many tireless hours, and was relentless in seeing justice served. His rates are extremely reasonable, and his counsel showed great discernment which only comes from ...

This attorney explained that his only role was to "show up to court" and "make sure nothing bad happens" just a few days before court - though I contacted him twice at the beginning and the middle of the month - after paying him a substantial retainer in August. He was not only unfamiliar with my cas...
I have been a practicing attorney for nearly 20 years. I have represented hundreds upon hundreds of people during this time. This is the one and only negative review on Avvo to date. There will likely be more in the future as neither I nor any other attorney can please every client or control how judges decide cases. Generally speaking, clients who are happy with the outcome of their case do not post reviews. Clients who are upset with the outcome of their case or a judge's decision are far more likely to take the time to write a review. Court is, for the most part, about winners and losers. Only through compromise and settlement prior to a court ruling can everyone walk away a winner. As an attorney, I am very limited in my ability to respond to any review due to attorney/client privilege and confidentiality rules. Therefore, I cannot discuss the specifics of this case. I can only say that this client's summary of my legal representation including my fee is incomplete and inaccurate. I do my utmost to work with clients and provide service to them at rates they can afford. I cannot and will not refund attorney's fees I have earned when a judge's decision is not to the liking of the client. I also do not respond to clients who threaten me with retaliation.
"Brian is the most knowledgeable real estate attorney that I know. I do not hesitate to consult with him on real estate and other legal matters. He is a great lawyer, and he has been a great friend."
