I was referred to the firm where Bryan Levy works. Because all of the big time lawyers were not taking on any new cases they handed me Levy. A mistake I regret. Through many email conversations and phone conversations, I not once was able to speak to him directly but only through his assistant. I had... explained thoroughly what my case was regarding. His assistant stated that Levy would love to meet with me but it would cost $300. Due to the nature of my case and me needing to find someone fast I agreed. Quite a few people asked are you sure, he looks pretty young and inexperienced. I told everyone I would give him the benefit of a doubt because that is just who I am. I drove 3 hours to meet Levy. Before I was even able to see him their secretary made me pay the $300, which I completely understand. I sat down with him only to hear him say that there wasn't really anything I could do and I should just walk away with my losses. I was screaming in my head - you have got to be kidding me. He KNEW what this case was about but gave me that "advice" only after I forked over $300. His handshake wasn't firm and his posture didn't carry confidence - things I feel like would help a lawyer in a case so they do not seem weak. A few days later I was referred to another lawyer who took on my case and won me EVERYTHING I had wanted and asked for because, like me and my family, he too believed that I was heavily wronged. Had I listened to Levy's "advice" my future and reputation would be in shambles. He is weak, isn't invested, and is inexperienced.
