I was petitioning for custody of my 2kids for over two years. After being ripped by two different lawyers who couldn't care less how much of my time they wasted, I contacted Blake to see if he could help me out. He seemed like a good guy and gave me a consultation with free advice. (As a man its alre...ady hard enough to ensure rights to your kids, but on top of that I was in an extremely difficult situation where my kids were being yanked around from state to state and back again. And living in Austin trying to obtain custody in Houston didn't make things easier when people already can't do their jobs.) I hired Blake to finish out my case as fast as possible. He was honest, easy to work with, and actually gave a damn about my case. All three of those seem to be really hard to find in this industry but Blake came through for me and helped me get my children (4&5yo) back and living with me for good. He even followed up with me afterwards to make sure everything was still going smooth. You have no idea how much I needed this, and was so glad to finally get this handled. THANK YOU BLAKE!!!

Blake did nothing he said he would. I gave him $2,000 retainer money, in march of 2019, and he did nothing on my case. He talks a very good game, in order to get vulnerable people to hire him, thus falling into his trap. We spoke a couple times after I hired him, mostly about when he was going to do ...something on my case(which never happened). Soon, he stopped answering calls, texts, emails, and voice messages. I eventually fired him and asked for a refund, but I still haven't received a dollar back!! I am being 100% truthful. I would honestly give '0' stars if i could. Do not hire this guy!!

I hired Blake to represent me in a family case. He seemed great at first. As soon as he got my retainer, he became unresponsive, never filed documents on my behalf, lied about filing the documents (which had a file by date or risk default judgement), never contacted the other attorney, never presente...d my case to the judge and generally did nothing hired to do. After 2 weeks of no response to my calls, texts and emails, I terminated him and asked for my retainer back...still no response. I will be filing an official grievance with the state and he's actually liable for malpractice at this point. Save yourself the headache, hassle and possible default judgments and find a different lawyer.
