Blake Daniel Allred

I hired Mr. Blake Allred in December of 2020, he would talk a good game when i could reach him ,he was always out of touch! Before I gave the retain money he would answer all the time! He didn't file what I needed him to file til January 27th & it was 1page ,he didn't ever tell me I had a May 5th cou...rt date all that time& I was told he didn't file my paper to the correct court & for some reason didn't want to go before Judge Quzada of court 246th family court!! I really liked Blake & his wife Jill were very nice but business is business & this is my Life ,my 2Boy's im fighting to see!! I have not seen my children since October of 2020! I called atleast 3times per week no call backs from Blake !! it was only when I had to leave messages threatening to Fire him & hire someone else & then I wd finally get a call back & he promised he wd keep me updated!! Well he still never said I have a May 5th 2021 court date !! I got fed up once March was over & still no answer about a court date,I demanded atleast half my money back & im surprised he sent half back,im grateful atleast for that, im scrapping by for a new atty & I called clerk of court and finally found out of my May 5th date 2weeks before May 5th !So I contacted him again and ask for my other 15hun because he should have atleast told me about my May 5th court date, I show up and they said That by my atty Mr. Allred not contacting the opposing atty, that my case is now postponed til August 9th of 2021 & Blake's wife messages me tells me that Blake is in No way possible responsible for the Delay of me Not being able to see my kid's!! Im very upset & I don't think he's done enough work to earn the money,his wife claimed he worked on a All out statagy on my case & said u fired him too soon!! Im telling yall I gave him so many chances to do this right,and its not fair people r in these most vulnerable situations in life without your kids & last thing I needed was to waste away what little I had saved!! I do feel he was a good atty at one point but this is just uncalled for,I hated to join the club & write this review Too!

Thankfully, I read the reviews so I was on guard just in case the bad reviews were valid. Well I learned the hard way that Blake is a complete scam!! I hired him for a child custody case. Before we paid the retainer he was always available and answered calls and texts. I was sure to ask for a timel...ine to make sure he would do what he said. Unfortunately, he wasn't available after the retainer was paid so we couldn't do what was planned because he refused to work on the case and update us. I let him know I no longer need him since his is not working on the case and requested a refund. He refuses to respond to my requests for a refund. I could go into more detail but I'm not trying to go into specifics. Just know that if you still decide to use him after reading reviews then give him a timeline and make sure he sticks to it! Good luck with that! Then I noticed after I checked his reviews again to post this there is a notice that he was disciplined by the state licensing authority in 2021! I really wish that was there before I hired him. I will be reporting him to the BAR as well. I can only imagine how many other victims have not reported him!

I was petitioning for custody of my 2kids for over two years. After being ripped by two different lawyers who couldn't care less how much of my time they wasted, I contacted Blake to see if he could help me out. He seemed like a good guy and gave me a consultation with free advice. (As a man its alre...ady hard enough to ensure rights to your kids, but on top of that I was in an extremely difficult situation where my kids were being yanked around from state to state and back again. And living in Austin trying to obtain custody in Houston didn't make things easier when people already can't do their jobs.) I hired Blake to finish out my case as fast as possible. He was honest, easy to work with, and actually gave a damn about my case. All three of those seem to be really hard to find in this industry but Blake came through for me and helped me get my children (4&5yo) back and living with me for good. He even followed up with me afterwards to make sure everything was still going smooth. You have no idea how much I needed this, and was so glad to finally get this handled. THANK YOU BLAKE!!!
