Autumn Snyder Harrell earned her J.D. Degree from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2002, and her LL.M. in Environmental law at the George Washington University School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 2004.

Ms. Harrell is a former member of the law firm H2 LAW, LLC and has practiced law in Louisiana since 2008.
Ms. Harrell is a member of Louisiana Bar Association, U.S. Virgin Islands Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for Western District of Louisiana Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana Bar. Ms. Harrell formally worked as a contract Public Defender in Plaquemines Parish and as a member of the New Orleans Public Defender's Conflict/Overflow Panel. Ms. Harrell is also an adjunct law professor at Loyola University Law School in New Orleans where she teaches a seminar on Law & Literature. She is also a former board member of the Loyola Law School Young Alumni Association and the New Orleans Opera Association.
