Ann Mercer

I hired this lawyer to do some QDRO work. She clearly did not know what she was doing, filling out un-necessary paperwork, and handling the entire process incorrectly. She was scattered, and difficult to communicate with. I would not use her for any child support issues, it would cost you the amoun...t of the support and you will get nothing.

I used Ann Mercer for a QDRO in a divorce case. There were no other options for an attorney that deals with these cases. I was shocked at some of the e-mails I received. I thought she had had some kind of breakdown or something. She was unreliable and inconsistent in her actions and comments, as ...well as not processing paperwork timely . She refused to bill the other party (who was court ordered to pay half of costs) at a later date when new costs were billed, even after she had done so in the beginning for retainer. I would receive new bills for things she said she had forgot about from months before but had no invoice. She was the worst experience I have had for legal help. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY.

I was referred to Ann to handle my QDRO as a part of my divorce and also used her to handle a second QDRO to collect on child support arrears. Her receptionist is THE WORST - she sends emails on Ann's behalf as Ann had little to NO communication with me throughout both of my QDROs, she doesn't respon...d to emails AT ALL and she wont take phone calls. Ann misfiled a couple of my motions at least once to my knowledge, admitted it in an email and then promptly denied it. At one point I went 6 months with NO contact - not even so much as a status update. She is just in it for the money and in no hurry to complete the case by any means. I recently became aware of some misconduct on her part in Washington state; too little, too late.
