Powers of Attorney are very important lifetime documents. They allow an individual to appoint people of trust (fiduciaries) to oversee their affairs when they cannot. I can usually get Powers of Attorney prepared and to the client within 5-7 business days after they have signed and returned a representation letter.

I handle Estates, Guardianships. In the past I have also advised clients on mental competency hearings.

Another main focus of my practice is trusts, both revocable and irrevocable. I have reviewed trusts for clients and advised clients on how to end trusts and distribute the assets. I am currently on a number on a number of clients' advisory committees to their Corporate Trustees. I can usually get trusts completed within 10-15 business days after they have signed and returned a representation letter.

Helpful Attorney

Atty. Medwid handled my mother's estate. His attention to the matter was very much appreciated. It was a rather complicated estate and if there was a matter which arose that was something that he was unsure of, Atty. Medwid did not hesitate to consult other professionals on my behalf. Bad Lawyer

I would say I was held back if anything by this attorney. I don't believe I was represented to the fullest, and would've had more confidence handling the case by myself. The information for my case was not studied well, and I was completely in the dark as far as the fees I was charged. I would not... hire this attorney again.
