Andrea Salinas

I came to Andrea with questions about whether I could get my ex to remove me from his mortgages. She asked for my divorce papers and told me that she could file a motion to enforce for me. I later learned that she couldn't, but not until after she had given me the runaround for several weeks - not... answering my calls and lying to me about "waiting for the court" when another attorney told me you can just schedule any day you chose. Andrea also inflated charges on my bill - e.g. charged me for an 18 minute phone call that my phone records lasted 1 minute, 4 hours of "research" for who knows what, and filing a motion which I never saw and that wasn't even possible to file. Fortunately, my next attorney called her on it and got my money refunded.

Ms. Salinas came in on my case as the second attorney with the firm, it was explained that she was the "senior" attorney, which was a bit misleading as I later learned she had been practicing for only three years. Ms. Salinas initially did well with the preparation, appeals, and settlement portion o...f my claim. Shortly before trial, she suffered some mental health issues, and was let go from the firm -she was currently working for the law firm of Jason S. Newcombe. The law firm did not inform me of her release, until I had called, distraught that she had a breakdown on the telephone. The senior (only other) attorney then came on my case, but had little time to prepare for trial at that point, which was highly stressful and traumatic. I do feel like my case was mishandled and at the end, Ms. Salinas was extrememly inappropriate and unprofessional. I do not believe that Ms. Salinas or the law firm of Jason S. Newcombe handled this admittedly highly unusual matter well at all, and it could have cost me custody of my children. PLEASE do research about your attorney and law firm - I learned a valuable lesson.

I was searching for a family law lawyer dealing with relocation. When i decided to relocate me and my son to California. I came across Andrea Salinas. I had previously tried to deal with this situation myself through the courts, but i became overwhelmed with paper work and court protocol. I needed he...lp!! When I talked to her I felt comfortable with her and felt like she could definitly piece my puzzle together. She was promped, always kept me informed, updated and was very knowledgeable. Now we are currently living in California thanks to Andrea Salinas!!! She was great and i would definitly recommend her to anyone seeking legal assistance.
