We used Amy for a recent elimation of alimony due to a retirement. Amy was excellent to deal with. Always kept us up to date and explained everything. She was always available to us. Would highly recommend her with any kind of divorce matters. If there were 10 stars we would give her all 10 with...out hesitation.

Starting with our first phone conference, I liked Amy immediately. She was clearly smart, tough, and thoroughly professional. When she reviewed my mediation agreement, she realized that there was language needed to further protect me in my particular case, which she added and had my ex approve and si...gn. When contacting Amy or her assistant Alison, calls, e-mails, and texts are answered promptly, sometimes after hours. Extra measures were taken to ensure, as much as possible, that my day in court went as smoothly as possible. It did. The whole legal process can be confusing, but she takes the time to explain the steps along the way and answer any questions. I’ve had friends – and even my own mother – who felt cheated by their divorce attorneys – even changing lawyers several times. In my entire experience with Amy I felt I was in very competent hands and lucky that she had my back.

I came to Amy after my ex's attorney wanted to tear apart our mediation agreement put together by a well respected professional in the area that specializes in divorce mediation. I asked Amy to look at all the facts of our divorce and determine what is a fair spilt of assets that would likely be app...roved by a judge if things went that far. Amy determined the existing mediation agreement was fair and would most likely stand additional scrutiny by a judge. Amy then crafted a response to my ex's attorney and with firm but fair pushback we got this settled. Amy did not attempt to start a war or prolong the process at all. She was instrumental in us moving forward with what ended up being very, very close to the original mediation agreement. Amy was responsive to my emails and maintained a high level of understanding of the divorce details during the entire process. I would definitely use Amy again, but no chance. One divorce is more than enough for me.

Saying thank you to Amy, will never truly show the depth of my gratitude. I was very anxious and uneasy dealing with an ex, who was very difficult, disrespectful and non-negotiable . Amy listened with compassion and respect. She was very open, honest and explained what to expect from the court. She k...ept me informed throughout my ordeal and was never hard to reach. I'm sure she had other difficult cases to handle, but she always made me feel like I mattered. Amy gave my words power. She gave me a voice and empowered me into being more confident. I'm sorry she had the misfortune of dealing with my difficult ex in court, however, she handled herself like a true, professional champion. I received a resolution that was fair and not one sided. I so appreciate how diligently she worked on my behalf. I came to her by chance, but it was my choice to have her represent me.....twice. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Amy Rokuson! Amy performed such an awesome job. I thought that I would have never seen the end of my Divorce proceeding. This is so amazing. I had spent 6 years of misery, fighting in court with 3 different lawyers and very high legal fees, and I really thought that the system was rigged against Dads. My experie...nce with Amy was so amazing from the start. She told me what I could expect, what was true and false about custody and child support. She did NOT make false promises like several previous lawyers. It takes a Divorce lawyer the handle Divorce, Custody and child support proceedings because a person has an ESQ. at the end of their name that doesn’t make them a Divorce lawyer. As I stated before. I’ve been in and out of court with my Ex 14 times in 6 years with other lawyers. With no results. I went to count (1) time with Amy and she was able corrected 6 bad years and 14 court orders at 1 time she really knows what she is doing. I know she is the best lawyer I ever seen.
