Amanda Lynn Kerestes

Amanda Kerestes (previoulsy DeMello) is an experienced attorney in Downtown Pittsburgh who primarily focuses on representation in family law cases. She started her education at The Pennsylvania State University, making the Dean’s List every semester and graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Legal Environment of Business in 2008. She went on to Duquesne University School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2013 with a Real Property concentration.

During law school, she served as co-editor of the Judge James Zoning Digest and as a Certified Legal Intern for zoning cases in front of Judge James, and was an active member of the Tangled Title Project through the Equity Protection Legal Clinic.

She joined Thomas A. Will & Associates in June 2011 as a law clerk until passing the bar exam in 2013 on her first attempt and earning a position as an Associate. Managing two jobs while being in law school, she knows how to use her time wisely and now puts that stellar work ethic to use for her clients.

While knowledgeable and dedicated, Ms. Kerestes is also known for being easy to relate to, which makes her well-suited to represent clients with legal needs in Family Law-Divorce, Custody, Support, and Estate Administration. She also has experience in Criminal, Civil Litigation, and Personal Injury. Doing clinical work as a Certified Legal Intern at Duquesne University School of Law, she also has strong skills in Title Search and Deed Preparation. Arguing a case comes naturally to Ms. Kerestes, and she is devoted to obtaining desired results for clients and giving each her personal attention.

Ms. Kerestes is licensed to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Western District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and Family Law Section, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the American Inns of Court-Family Law Section, and the Penn State University Alumni Association.

As a Pittsburgh native, she loves the city and its culture as well as maintaining close ties to friends and family. She grew up in competitive cheer and dance as a member of several all-star teams. Sharing what she learned, she currently serves as Varsity Cheerleading Coach and Competition Cheerleading Coach at Hampton High School where she has coached for four years.
