Alonte Raheem Holliday

This guy took my money for a very simple Formal Hearing, lied & botched my time sensitive hearing, had to wait 3 more months, I had to contact him about my next hearing & I received everything I needed to do from the Secretary of State & then he would send me the same information from his firm & I ha...d to take care of everything on my own. I paid for a lawyer to walk me through the hearing & be my voice. He was never available for me, I asked him to please emphasize a few things during the hearing & was quiet as mouse, I had to speak for myself. Now I had an appeal & tried contacting him for weeks to help with the appeal. When I finally spoke to him, he makes all his excuses & told me he’d look over everything & come to me with a plan. Since then he wont answer his phone or call/text back. & now his office won’t answer my calls. Took my money & ran with it. Alonte Holiday is a terrible lawyer. Would NOT recommend. I had to report him and file my complaint at ARDC of the Supreme Court of Illinois. No morals, he just takes your money & runs. Imagine feeling robbed by your lawyer. & I called again 2x, they don’t pick up my calls, my girlfriend called & they picked up, then I called & they don’t pick up. Just embarrassing.

Mr. Holliday was nothing but professional. From making me feel comfortable in working all the details in my case out, to being a strong and confident voice in the courtroom and out of the courtroom, to even being someone who knew how to crack a joke and lighten the mood when need be. He was fantastic... in every regard and held each task assigned to him with upmost sincerity and professionalism. Eternally thankful for the effort, pride, and drive he had and how he puts his all into his work endeavors.
