Alexander James Coffin

I was referred to Alexander Coffin through Montgomery County, MD Bar Association. One of the worst decisions and waste of money I ever made. Alex was deceitful about representation. He was not honest about the outcome of a monetary claim. Only after the demand letter he wrote failed, he told me that ...he could no longer represent me. Had he been more upfront of the outcome, I could've saved myself a lot of money, time, and disappointment.

He wrote a letter on my behalf to my employer Uber he did not go extra mile to ensure that the recipient got the letter despite the fact that he charged me $700 to write the letter ,when I requested for a follow up or reminder letter he was only interested in charging me extra $600 to write a remind...er letter without any explanation as to why the first letter was not received or acknowledged by Uber and no certainty that the second reminder letter will reach the recipient or acknowledged only interested in getting paid $600 to write. 2 nd letter I regretted engaging his services ,I felt it was a waste of my Time and money

I am very satisfied with the work Alex Coffin did in creating my will. He did initially require me to provide him the balance of my credit union accounts, which my years-ago first lawyer did not require, I am quite sure; he subsequently told me that he did not need that information. Stickler that I... am (as he learned), his at first not knowing that he did not need that information keeps me from rating him as excellent. As that example shows, he is clearly accommodating. His requesting this review is further indication of his professionalism. I would strongly recommend his services. (I already indicated to him that I would like to at some point drive up to Annapolis and have lunch with him; I hope that my not rating him excellent would not dissuade him from having lunch with me.)
