Alethea earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts. She was selected for induction into Alpha Kappa Delta, an international honor society for Sociology majors. She then obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Massachusetts School of Law. While attending law school, Alethea worked full-time as a bankruptcy paralegal. Alethea resides in Lowell and enjoys spending time with her family. She is a member of the Lawrence Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association.
