Addison J. Hosner, Esq. primarily focuses his practice in the area of marital and family law, but does do general civil litigation on a case by case basis.
Mr. Hosner is a Florida native, born and raised Fort Myers, Florida. Mr. Hosner attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, attaining his B.A. in Journalism. After working in the Boynton Beach area post-graduation, Addison pursued his passion in law and attended Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska.
During his time in Omaha, Addison concurrently completed his Juris Doctor degree alongside two Master of Science degrees, graduating with all three degrees in three years. He holds a Master of Science degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution and a Master of Science degree in Government Organization and Leadership, as well as having completed mediation training to become a certified mediator by the Nebraska Mediation Association.
While in Omaha, Mr. Hosner clerked for the law firm of Welsh & Welsh, working under a Top 100 National Trial Lawyer, specializing in plaintiffs' personal injury. He spent a semester studying international criminal law abroad in The Hague, Netherlands and Nuremberg, Germany, the site of the historic Nuremberg Trials following World War II. Additionally, he spent a semester in Washington, D.C., working for the Cato Institute’s Center for Constitutional Studies as a legal intern under direction by leaders in the field. Addison was selected for and is currently a part of the James Madison Institute’s Leaders Fellowship program for under-40-year-old professionals in the state of Florida.
