Adam is a sellout!!!

He’s a complete sell out!!! While representing me he was working to be a district attorney. I should’ve represented myself

He is a fraud, Complete scam artist!

He will take your money, and not show up to court, and completely screw you. I was in Chester County on a probation violation charge, that was a mistake, wasn't hard for another lawyer to clear up, and rather quickly I might add. . . But because of Adam Bompadre I ended up sitting for a few ex...tra months, he stole $4500 from my sickly mother and after not showing up to my hearing ( which had horrible ramifications ) then visit me in County Jail to tell me to my face that he will not be giving back my mother's payment, even though he failed to appear at the hearing and never did anything, file no paper work, never answered his phone after being paid, he did absolutely nothing. . .After he decided to not show up for my hearing, which postponed my date, WHILE I was in jail, because could not bail since it was technically a probation violation. SO I sat in County Jail for 2 extra months all because he decided to NOT to show up to my hearing he was paid $4500 to defend me at, by my mother who was desperately trying to help me. Then my Father paid another lawyer I had told him about, who I heard about in the jail. And whom I'd highly recommend. And, guess what. . . I was out the next day. . . He just stole $4500 dollars from a award winning sickly, retired teacher of disable and autistic kids her entire life at Devereux. . . I will put my e-mail address at the bottom just in case, anyone has questions about him, or my experiences with him, or my opinion whether or not you should hire him. Oh, which by the way is a big, resounding. NO. And I guarantee those "positive" 2 reviews at the top of this site by anonymous people. Are completely fake and done by him himself most likely. I am very sure he doesn't defend anyone, he just takes money and runs...BEWARE of Adam Bompadre! He is a scam artist, and here I got the document later what my mother signed was about 12 pages saying in small print a numerous amount of times, absolutely randomly, at the end and sometimes middle of each paragraph. "You will not be refunded" . . . So we never tried getting the money back once me and my Father read that. . . [email protected]

Uncommunicative once he's paid

The only 2 visits i had with him was to sign payment agreement. Showed up to court on one occasion with his kid. The few times i met with him he stated " he had to make it quick cause he was tight on time". When i voiced my concern about his demeanor towards my case he simply took my money withdrew f...rom my cases and missed a hearing scheduled in July for Bucks co. Resulting in a warrant being issued while i was incarcerated. Never sign a fee agreement with him cause he WILL just walk away with your money and leave you out to dry when it matters most. The last 8400 we paid him and all he did was file a motion and withdraw. You can get service like that for free from the public defenders office! He also has no problem breaking client confidentiality openly on the internet.

Beware, Over-Priced, Lackadaisical, Non-Communicative

I hired Adam to represent my son in a combination of criminal charges. He charges by the case, not by the hour. Initially all appeared to be on the up & up as promised, but for the money spent all we got out of him were the proper document filing pertaining to the (2) cases he was retained for and th...en nothing after that. He tried spinning a story that due to the Covid 19 pandemic there would be no court appearances, and that everything within the legal system had been put on hold. Meanwhile, my son acquires more charges for failure to appear in court, and the representation by Adam did not occur. I want to clarify one thing right now, most of the court proceedings during this time were being held via video, and Adam couldn't even do that; he was too busy sitting back with his brand new red Nike's telling my son & I that with the pandemic there was no rush to move forward with the cases. So, unless you have disposable income and you know for a fact that your only outcome will be a guilty as charged, but need over-priced representation, Then this is your attorney. Meanwhile, I ended up hiring another REAL lawyer who not only physically helped to move the cases thru the judicial system, but did so quickly & efficiently. Bottom line, I'm out the initial money laid out to file a few documents by Adam, and I'm out the money laid out again to cover another lawyer's efforts which included following thru with additional charges that were directly caused by Adam Bompadre's no-show performance. Thanks for nothing.

Gary was not my client. His son was. It was his son's money, but because David was incarcerated, Gary merely facilitated getting me the retainer. Gary's son hired me Feb 2019 to take over his case from another attorney he wasn't happy with for a Chester County Parole Violation. David was incarcerated. I was able to get him out of jail. He then hired me for a PWID and DUI case in Montgomery County. I had filed Omnibus Pretrial Motions because we had a good legal issue and David wanted to defend the case fully. While that motion was pending, and in between court dates, I was able to negotiate a mitigated range offer on his case, which he accepted. Prior to the next court date unbeknownst to me David fled the Jurisdiction due to a collateral Custody issue he had with the County CYS department. David did NOT consult me before fleeing. As a result a Bench Warrant was issued for his arrest. He contacted me later via telephone, and lied to me, telling me he was outside the jurisdiction of the United States. He then got arrested in Arizona and extradited back to PA. When he came back our omnibus hearing was scheduled, and I was STILL able to keep his previous mitigated range offer open, and he plead guilty and was eligible for parole in about 3 months. While he was away in Arizona as a fugitive, he was charged with Interference with Custody of his kids, Violation of the Chester County Parole case mentioned earlier, as well as being charged with Resisting Arrest in Bucks County So he was incarcerated awaiting parole on the case I just plead him to, he hadn't made bail on the new Interference charge, he had a VOP detainer in Chester County (which is not bailable), and he had a case in Bucks county for which they had a detainer also. David retained me for the Interference with Custody case and also the Bucks county Resisting Arrest charge. He did not retain me for the Chesco VOP case right away. David wanted to fight both new charges. I met with David twice at Montco Prison. I filed an Omnibus Pretrial Motion including a Writ of Habeas Corpus in the Interference case, and I still believe the Commonwealth could not sustain that charge against him. David's primary concern was regaining custody of his kids, and the only way he could reasonably do that was to beat this charge. He had a complete defense. He had legal custody of his kids when he fled the jurisdiction of PA with them, so it was a legal impossibility for him to have been found guilty of this charge. I have been practicing law for 20 years and have had over 80 major jury trials. He had a winner. His problem was he could not get out of jail, and this became his driving concern. He became impatient. Just after I filed the Pretrial motion, the Courts were effectively closed due to Covid 19 pandemic (as of March 17). They were not opened again and video hearings did not begin in most counties until around June 30th. I wrote to David at Montco explaining the situation twice. David's case was last scheduled for status on April 11, 2020, but was not held due to Covid. In the intervening period, David made numerous statements that were communicated to me which made it ethically impossible for me to continue as his attorney. As a result I had to file motions to withdraw as counsel in early June 2020 and they were granted. I was out of the cases before the courts resumed business. David ended up pleading guilty in the Interference case in Sept. which I still believe was a mistake, albeit it was to a much lesser charge. My hard work and the Omnibus motion I filed likely led to this result. David remains incarcerated today, and his Bucks County case is listed for trial in December 2020. Everything that I told David and Gary happened exactly as I said it would. It is a case of sour grapes. He is STILL incarcerated, just like I told him he would be, and his Bucks case is STILL pending. You know what they say...you can lead them to water..
