Excellent knowledge, demeanor and advice

I initially consulted Stefan with a divorce case that was not black and white. Stefan evaluated the situation completely and offered excellent advice. He was very considerate of the situation, handled everything with extreme professionalism and utilized his excellent assistant as much as possible to ...minimize my financial impact. Stefan is a great resource for Anchorage and I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a divorce lawyer. Stefan's approach is very calming in a turbulent time and his knowledge appears to be as broad as it can be. His tenure in the community provides him with a solid understanding of his peers as well as those he is going to present his cases to. Both of these facets are extremely helpful in coming to the best resolution possible.

Great Adoption Hearing

I used the Otterson Law Office to complete two OCS adoptions. It was very easy to get them on the phone and they answered my questions immediately. I had some troubles with OCS and Stefan was great at explaining the process to me. It was a long two years to get to the adoption, we were exhausted a...nd the Otterson Law Office handled it all.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
