Excellent reasonably priced help in an extremely complicated situation

I hired Mr. Patteson to help me walk through a myriad of questions regarding a complicated estate situation that involved several people with Power of Attorney, a will with two Personal Representatives who were unwilling and unable to accept the P.R. role, and a will that specified the estate be spli...t 10 different ways. Without his expertise, I most certainly would have gotten myself into legal trouble by trying to help the heirs more than I was legally allowed. He made it very clear what I legally could and could not do, and walked me through the process that needs to take place. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. I would highly recommend him. His expertise was worth every penny I paid and more.

Dishonest, seemed to dislike women

He did not educate me. He didn't fight for me and never returned my emails or answered my calls. I walked into my divorce settlement hearing ignorance and uneducated.

I have know Curtis for a number of years and have learned that he can be depended upon to get to the bottom of the issue and resolve the conflict while protecting his client's interests. I have referred cases to him and fought with him on the other side of several cases and can clearly state that each time, he did a stellar job and was a credit to our profession. His integrity is impeccable."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
