Robert Herz, Federal crime Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I've known Steve for years. He is well versed in the area of Family Law and in fact for many years wrote a column for the Bar Association magazine related to current issues. But what strikes me as most important, in an area of the law fraught with the high emotions of the parties, attorneys often can carelessly or purposefully instigate or escalate the simmering angers and anxieties of the parties involved. Not Steve. Steve is caring and compassionate and while he always strives to obtain the best fair and just result for his client, he does it without making things worse.... instead of the parties spiraling out of control with anger, Steve searches for ways for everyone to stay calm and work together to achieve the best results for the family and children involved. That is not a result that is easy to achieve. Steve has the great personal skill and judgment to navigate the often difficult and turbulent circumstances frequently facing Family Law attorneys.
