Gavin Kentch

I primarily do contract work for other attorneys, in a wide range of civil litigation. Attorneys have hired me to research and write several dispositive motions. I previously clerked for a civil judge, the Honorable Sen Tan, where I worked on dozens of civil cases.

I write both criminal and civil appeals, and have written appellate briefs to both the Alaska Court of Appeals (criminal) and the Alaska Supreme Court (civil). Trial attorneys often find it helpful, and cost-effective, to engage me to write the appeal after they have handled the trial.

I write criminal appeals, both for private clients and on a contract basis for the State of Alaska. I previously clerked for the Alaska Court of Appeals, where I wrote the bench memo (internal research document) for dozens of cases.
