Allison King at Chvatal King Law did fabulous job on my complicated divorce case lasting over 2 years. For one thing, we "won" every time we were in court. We eventually negotiated the exact settlement that I went into this wanting. I learned quickly to have total trust in Allison. She was not th...e least intimidated by any other attorney or situation and she was in command of the facts and the details of my case at all times. She gave excellent advice about getting financial experts on board early. She also advised that I come in periodically to sit down with her and review the case. This proved valuable to being well prepared and in developing a good working relationship with Allison and her staff. It's the nature of the game that the past 2 years were not always a pleasure. I can say that Allison King and her staff came through with flying colors. I truly appreciate the excellent service at Chvatal King Law and will be forever grateful for their care during that difficult time.

Ms. King represented me during my divorce and was the primary attorney responsible for the Divorce Decree, Parenting Plan, and Financial/Asset Allocation with the action. It is my opinion that Ms. King was completely unprepared to represent a father in a divorce case. She was unsympathetic, lax i...n her motions, and disengaged from me as her client. Her negotiations left me with 75% liability for future expenses associated with the children, less than 50% of my tangible and financial assets, and barely 20% of time with my children (even though my work schedule was supremely flexible). At such a critical point in my life, where I was looking for the professionalism and knowledge of my legal counsel to provide an appropriate defense, I found the engagement and experience to be inadequate. Since switching firms, I have been able to modify custody to 50/50 shared parenting and joint custody; thereby modifying my financial liability and the amount of time I spend with my kids.

Life changed unexpectedly and my marriage failed, I met with Allison and had a consoltation with my family’s wants and needs and she was able to provide me with a basic idea on how to proceed if I wished to pursue my divorce with her as my attorney. After I hired Allison I found myself initially ove...rwhelmed by the process but she walked me through it step by step the whole way through. I was able to fill out parenting plans, calmly walk through custody options and lastly, she helped me navigate through personal items and how to split costs of assets/debts. I was dreading my divorce, everyone does, however I am thankful that I had a professional like Allison to assist me at any given time. My divorce was handled efficiently and with minimum ex wife problems. If anyone ever needs a dedicated knowledgeable lawyer you should definitely consider speaking with Allison! I can honestly vouch that it was my best decision for my situation that I made during that difficult time.

I recently had Allison King represent me in my child custody matter. Being a man, I wasn’t sure that a female attorney was the best, so I had a conference with her. This was my first experience with an attorney and I was pretty worried as it involved my children. She explained to me what I could r...ealistically expect. I didn’t want an attorney who promised me everything just to get my money so I hired her. Throughout the process, she was always prepared and available to answer questions. Unfortunately, when we went to mediation, our case did not settle and we had to go to trial. I had to pay for a trial, but because I had realistic goals, I was confident that I would do okay. At the end of the trial, I received more from the judge than what we offered at mediation. Although I can’t promise everyone that they will get the same result, I know that if you hire Allison and you follow her recommendation, you will most likely end up okay. I have read other reviews and don’t recognize Allison at all. I can only presume that they either didn’t like the advice they were given or didn’t follow it. Maybe they needed an attorney who would tell them what they wanted to hear. That’s not Allison. If you want an attorney to give you advice based on what’s best for you, then I would highly recommend her.
