Robert Jess Taylor-Manning

I met with Rob in early 2020 , paid a $2000.00 retainer for his help with a legal matter. I received a letter when Covid started saying there would be delays for all clients. This was the last I ever heard from him or his office. I have since called dozens of times for a refund of the remainder of my... retainer as the matter I hired him for has become irrelevant in the 3 years that have passed. I have never received a call back. I would just like the retainer returned. I cannot fathom taking money from someone and never providing the service or a return of the money paid. Looking at other reviews, I see I am not alone there are plenty of others who describe similar experiences.

I would NEVER recommend this law firm or Robert Taylor Manning. I hired Robert because he sounded confident in what he was doing. Communication was a HUGE issue. Robert never returned calls or emails. Our first hearing he was late to by a hour. The second one he did it completely wrong. The judge s...aid “I legally can’t do anything because he did it wrong” and wrote a side note asking “what are you doing to your clients”. Immediately after that hearing he said we would get a “significant” credit to our account also a credit in the amount of the opposing sides lawyer fees I was awarded do to him waiting there time for doing it wrong. After that hearing he and his team ignored all communication with me. Leaving me to have to find a new lawyer and have yet to see a credit. In fact I have gotten another bill instead of a credit. It took him 6 months to get to my case. The only thing he accomplished was a change of venue (which he was a hour late to) everything else he did wrong. He charged me nearly $10,000 and I have yet to see a credit. I will be posting this to the public to warn them not to hire him or the firm that hired someone that doesn’t know what he is doing.

Rob was a very intelligent man, driven and knew his stuff! He was not afraid to say what needed to be said and made me feel confident in him.
